Resume Assignment

Using the guidelines your textbook offers in Chapter 15, please write a resume that captures your college experience, your relevant coursework, your past work and internship history, and any awards you may have won. Please use the chronological resume format, unless we have discussed that your experience is suited to another resume format.

The resume examples on 418 and 419 are good ones for you to follow. Please note the clean aesthetic format and the organized use of margin spacing, section differentiation, and bold and italic font usage. Also, note the usage of "active verbs" and the "parallel" sentence structures.

Please consult, finally, the checklist on page 435, in the left-side column, to make sure your resume contains all appropriate sections. I do recommend minimizing the inclusion of non-academic interests, hobbies, and work experience, as you will be applying for internships and jobs that are, most likely, "technical" in the coming years.

Despite what I might have said in class, I will not be pre-posting a rubric for this assignment, as I typically do not use one to grade it. This is the only assignment that will not have one.
